Acting Through Song

Make your song come alive!

Who: Youth Ages 10 -17
When: March 3rd - 31st
             Wednesdays 3:00 - 5:00 pm
Where: This is an online class run through Zoom
Tuition: $100
In this class you will learn:
  • How to be specific and find the little moments that define your acting choices
  • How to work on the moments of discovery and acting beat changes
  • How to transform your song into a dynamic piece of acting
  • How to prepare songs for upcoming auditions

How can I prepare for this class?

Please come to class prepared with one song that you already know and want to work on. You may also be assigned an additional song by the instructor to work on during this course.

Meet Your Instructor: Zachary Hasbany

Zachary Hasbany is grateful to return to the Music to My Ears team to teach this class. He is a theatre teacher, acting coach, director, and actor who has worked around the country and Sonoma County. Most recently, he directed Cinnabar Theater’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and acted as Bill Sikes in 6th Street Playhouse’s Oliver! Zachary earned his MA in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado and trained as an actor at PCPA: Pacific Conservatory Theatre.
