About the Instructor:
Robin "Nigel" Zickel
Robin “Nigel” Zickel, plays and teaches drum set, percussion and vocals; He was a recording artist for Higher Octave Music, recorded and co-produced two albums for Crystal Wind Consort,Inner Travelerand Café Tropique. He has performed in the orchestras of seven theater companies in Sonoma and Marin Counties as well as in the Sonoma County produced play Always, Patsy Clinein over 60 sold-out shows with three theater companies culminating with performances at theUptown Theater in Napa and theLuther Burbank Center of the Arts in Santa Rosa to a standing ovation audience of over 1100 people. He studied and performed reggae in Jamaica and classical and jazz music at Sonoma State University and Santa Rosa Junior College. Robin has been a nightclub entertainer and has performed live music and recorded with countless bands throughout the San Francisco Bay Area since the 1980’s. He has taught privately and in groups since 1995.
