Understanding Musical Theater Performing as a Career

Who: High School Students (ages 13+)
What: A workshop for students interested in careers as broadway performers
Where: Music to My Ears, 8500 Gravenstein Hwy, Cotati
When: Nov 9th, 5-9 PM
Tuition: $215
This is the valuable, real-live, pragmatic training and information all young people should have before heading off to pursue a career in performing.  

​And no, most colleges do not teach this (can you believe that?!) 

With Josh Bailey they will:
  • Talk about financial planing & budgeting. 
  • Present practical info on the numbers behind choosing performing as a career.
  • Engage in College audition prep - each student gets spotlight time. 
  • Work with a live accompanist.  
  • Talk to a live performer who has worked on Broadway
  • Empower parents in the planning process by getting them involved in the last 15min

About Joshua Bailey

​Formerly an adjunct voice professor at NYU, Joshua currently teaches voice privately at his studio in Santa Rosa, Music to My Ears in Cotati, and at Santa Rosa Junior College, as well as teaches musical theater internationally in Shanghai, China.
